Paul Justin Encinas is an award-winning writer/director based in Brooklyn, NY. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, he first made waves at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2008 with his debut feature film Glory Boy Days. Since then, he has worked with major publications like Rolling Stone, Blizzard Entertainment, and Marie Claire.

 

 Born to Filipino immigrant parents, he brings a punk rock DIY sensibility and independent spirit to all of his projects. As a Filipino-American filmmaker, he brings a diverse cultural perspective and punk rock DIY ethos to his independent films and feature-length projects. His eye for visual storytelling and passion for pushing the boundaries of conventional narrative make him a director to watch.
